Business outlook
Pros
Working with some very bright, motivated, and/or experienced people. Being an important part of designing and building some unique industrial equipment that is world renown. The work/life balance is really good. Management treats employees as people, instead of expendable resources. When customers can't hide how pleased they are the first time they see their machines working flawlessly.
Cons
Not every project creates a large profit, so there's not a lot of budget for bonuses or raises. Some customers are very difficult to work with, and bending over backwards to make them happy can lower morale.
