Pros
Good starting career. Reasonable work life balance. Moving to PTO model is better than the original offering from years past.
Cons
Senior leadership is a shark tank, interested only in cost cutting. Raises are not merit based, and rely on slightly underpacing inflation, regardless of performance. Engineering talent/expertise is not regarded as a resource worth preserving; from Cleveland closing, to Richmond trimming (with zero engineers as of 2025), to the RIF of 2025 throughout North America that largely hit IT. The organization, as a whole, has a cultural problem, and has a habit of making poor financial decisions from sunk costs (lead crisis circa 2020 , SAP implementation circa 2021 in Richmond, and multiple corporate IT projects that I was privy to from 2022-2025) Beyond that, IT as a whole is considered a cost center, rather than a value delivery department, in this digital age. They are consistently under staffed, under paid, over tasked with delivering the improbable (impossible?), after outside consultants have failed.
