Pros

- Hours are decent depending on department/specialty -

Cons

- Practice managers do not communicate well and take a day minimum or up to several days to respond, or sometimes don’t respond at all, even if it’s an urgent matter - Pay is NOT equal to the amount of work that gets thrown onto everyone’s plates - The burn out is excessive for almost all employees and doctors; I was present when the question of “is there a plan for all the burn out that we’re experiencing,” was asked to the CEO & President of Endeavor (J.P. Gallagher) and his response in summary was “just wait it out.” - Money is spent everywhere and on everything BUT Endeavor’s own employees and doctors which is why there’s such a high turnover rate and a shortage of specialty doctors at this company (pay is not competitive enough) - Endeavor spends millions of dollars of its CIF (community investment fund) per year towards several communities in the Lake & Cook county area; this essentially is a good thing, however, Endeavor’s own employees and doctors are dealing with delays in standard 3% raises, hiring freezes when cries for help have been made, and even significant pay cuts (20-30% decrease in salary per employee- managers & doctors primarily faced the brunt of this) in result of COVID and pay has not been returned to normal - HR department is not reliable (promises one thing and does another)

Pros

Raises salary quickly and there is market/inflation raise.

Cons

Being in immediate care side, there were many changes very quickly. Able to quickly advance salary but you start low. Very little bonus.
