Pros
Competitive pay to START and nice benefits package. However the competitive pay to start quickly becomes a liability once it is realized that being considered for a promotion based off of performance is impossible.
Cons
Collecting the exact same pay, and being overlooked for countless contractors during years of excellent performance can no longer considered competitive.
