The flexible work schedule and generous vacation policy makes working here almost bearable. The people at the ground level are absolutely GREAT and have a ton of experience.
Cons
Management is a mess. In the last year the following has occurred: A safety award program was announced and rolled out that promised a team and regional level award. After all the criteria was met the company announced that they would NOT be giving these out due to budget issues. Isn't "INTEGRITY" one of the company values? The company now has started charging us for the "benefit" of driving our trucks home even though it is not optional and is a mutual benefit to the company. NOW they are installing tracking devices on our trucks and think we are STUPID enough to believe that it won't be used in some Orwellian power trip as a convenient excuse to fire someone for hitting their brakes too hard the next time the company needs to make a quick and dirty distribute able cash flow adjustment by reducing head count and letting more vital work fall the wayside.
