Culture! I have not worked at a place that has a better culture established from the TOP to the bottom. From the very first interaction with the recruiter, to the numerous interviews that I had, each person was genuinely happy, kind and loved what they did and who they represent. As a remote employee and is sometimes client facing in the field, I receive a ton of support and never feel like I am out in right field all by myself. Our team is great and each one of my teammates holds that same culture, perspective and genuinely cares about one another and the participants that we help. The amount of resources and groups that you can join is amazing and if you are looking for a diverse company that practices what they preach, look no further. I have worked for the 1st and 3rd biggest firms in the world and I would say that this by far is the most personally rewarding job/career position that I have ever been in. I took less money to come here because of the level of sanity, work/life balance, culture and overall vibe of Empower. I will finish by saying that they are always promoting workshops each month on different career paths, as well as management. My manager held my position and did it at a high level, as did his manager. Several of the people that were formally on my team, prior to my arrival, have gone on to advance and stay with Empower. It is not uncommon to hear a long tenure when asked how long an employee has been with Empower or one of the companies that they have merged with in the past (while staying on board). Cons
none that I can think of, although every place will have it's quirks, Empower and the division that I work in only runs into issues with a few systematic things (systems communicating with one another, which they are working on streamlining come July1) and hurdles around the government plan can's and can-not's.
