Pros

WFH, Time off, Medical insurance

Cons

I’m sharing this review not out of emotion, but from real on-the-ground experience. There’s a lot of politics at play, and unfortunately, it seeps into everyday work. Teams often get caught up in confusion because leaders aren’t aligned . they say one thing and do another. Priorities keep shifting, and as an employee, you’re left trying to make sense of the chaos without any clear direction. If something doesn't goes as per the expectation, then you are blamed Over the past year alone, there have been four rounds of layoffs to meet investers target. If you’re someone who thrives in a structured, supportive, and transparent environment, this place is not for you. If you ask sensible questions then this place it not for you. You will be targeted. There’s a lack of skilled leadership especially at the VP level, and many seem more focused on protecting their positions than doing what’s right for the team or the company.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. While we value and welcome all feedback – even critical – we also want to clarify a key inaccuracy in your review. The statement that our company has had “four rounds of layoffs this year” is not true. We have not had four layoffs this year. We recognize that change and growth can sometimes create uncertainty, and we’re actively working to improve communication, alignment, and leadership consistency across the organization. Employee feedback – including perspectives like yours – plays an important role in shaping those efforts. We remain committed to transparency, fair hiring practices, and creating an environment where employees can thrive. If you’re open to it, we’d welcome a direct conversation through our People & Talent to better understand your experience. Please realy out to People@employinc.com.

Pros

Remote work & health benefits (no 401k match)

Cons

Employ can be a chaotic and challenging environment due to frequent organizational changes, including multiple re-orgs and recurring layoffs that can create uncertainty and impact morale. Job seekers should expect a fast-paced environment where priorities and direction may shift regularly as leadership works to evolve the company strategy. The new CEO appears to bring a strong startup mindset and focus on turning the business around, though the long-term impact remains to be seen. There has also been notable executive turnover, which has contributed to changing priorities and evolving visions over time. Adaptability and resilience are valuable traits here — if “pivot” and “re-org” happen to be on your office bingo card, you may have a head start. Additionally, annual bonus payouts do not happen so don’t expect these, so job seekers may want to view variable compensation as more of a “pleasant surprise if it happens” than a guaranteed part of total rewards.
