Pros

Remote work & health benefits (no 401k match)

Cons

Employ can be a chaotic and challenging environment due to frequent organizational changes, including multiple re-orgs and recurring layoffs that can create uncertainty and impact morale. Job seekers should expect a fast-paced environment where priorities and direction may shift regularly as leadership works to evolve the company strategy. The new CEO appears to bring a strong startup mindset and focus on turning the business around, though the long-term impact remains to be seen. There has also been notable executive turnover, which has contributed to changing priorities and evolving visions over time. Adaptability and resilience are valuable traits here — if “pivot” and “re-org” happen to be on your office bingo card, you may have a head start. Additionally, annual bonus payouts do not happen so don’t expect these, so job seekers may want to view variable compensation as more of a “pleasant surprise if it happens” than a guaranteed part of total rewards.

Pros

TA Software has been in the market for a long time, giving it a strong customer base and opportunity to be a player in the market.

Cons

The organization has overlooked real reasons for customer churn for quite some time thinking they can discount prices or lock customers in to long term contracts to fix the issues. But they haven't updated the product in too long and customer service has been struggling. Management also refuses to listen to long standing employees and keep making the same mistakes. It also feels like they no longer actually care about employees.
