Pros
Emory is a great place to start working and learn. There are many benefits that are hard to compete with while working here. It's hard to say much more.
Cons
There is no future for many of its employees unless you are in the click with leadership. They will help pay for your advanced education after a certain time; however, Emory will not advance you after education is received. I have applied for many other jobs at Emory that I should be qualified for; however, after several years of outstanding professional reviews from my supervisor, Emory cannot recognize that. Emory is not loyal to its hard working employees that keep it running and is too big to realize what they are losing. Several employees have left due to the same realization. I have talked to senior leadership several times now about my intentions of wanting to advance too. Still... nothing.
