Pros

Most of the people are wonderful and friendly, the building amenities are nice with offices for every salesperson and big windows with natural light. They allow casual dress, have monthly birthday celebrations for employees, and you can bring your dog to work with you. The work is different every day which is exciting and there are (some) opportunities for growth. Compensation is average if you negotiate, otherwise they will lowball.

Cons

Executives will turn a blind eye when you approach them with problems or concerns. There is no HR department to safely discuss company troubles. They do not allow remote work, even for positions that don't require being in-office. Executives do not hold the managers accountable or review their work. Some managers scream and curse at their employees, while management in marketing is incompetent, disorganized, and unethical. They have a high turnover rate due to the attitudes and actions of managers in sales, accounting, and marketing. PTO and benefits are below average and PTO (10 days/year including sick days) is accumulated monthly.

Pros

Been working with ECN just over 2 years and went through rough patches and good times. The best thing about this company is its management. They recognize when something is wrong or doesn't work and aren't afraid to change leadership when needed. They have promoted from within and the CEO, CFO and COO all are accessible and come around just to say hello when they can, which is really great. Our new leadership in my current department is finally the right person to help us move forward and make me excited to work here once again.

Cons

Benefits and time off could be improved. I understand the high price of health insurance, however if I use my spouse's benefits from another company, I should benefit some other way as I am actually saving the company money. We really need to review the vacation schedule and maybe even offer some more flex days during the year (adding additional paid holidays).
