While departments vary, the overarching internal culture is highly hierarchical and political. This gap prevents collaborative communication and results in unclear expectations. Employees outside of leadership may feel undervalued, and turnover is high. Accountability is not applied consistently, and siloed work structures allow gaps in leadership to go unnoticed.
