Pros
Ellex, (now Lumibird) is a dynamic organisation with financial bandwidth to provide job sustainability and long-term, cross functional career prospects. Innovative technologies in niche industry focussed on a great cause. Truly global organisation with global opportunities were one can generally get out of working for the company, proportionally to what they put in. A big company with many values. not yet a giant, where everyone is only a number. As a former competitor and an employee, I wish everyone at Ellex and the broader Lumibird group every bit of success and very best of luck.
Cons
Just like any other organisation..., it has its inner drama queens, its inner clans, inner politics, inner pressures, quite a few bootlickers, back stabbers. and then those that simply focus and get on the job. Lots of it comes from background culture, sense of insecurity and ego . It's often difficult to navigate between those clans and not get distracted by the politics, but not impossible. If one doest feel insecure about their job, insecure about themselves, and able to get on with their job, then there is not many 'cons' at all.
