Transportation is provided free of charge via large school bus. If this wasn't the case they wouldn't meet their liabilities for contracts outside Chicago in the suburbs.
Cons
You are locked inside the facility once you walk through a type of security carousel. There is no walking to your parked car or taking any outdoor breaks. The production floor conveyor belt management is apparently segregated into race and ethnicity which is typical for this type of work and in that area. The company hired workers that manage the production lines and speeds are constantly pushing for faster outputs until something or someone within the assembly system fails. This is repeated over and over again all day and puts unnecessary strain on line workers and line leaders. It's as if they never heard the saying "steady pace wins the race" or possibly they don't care because they might be getting a commission on top of their hourly for running lines so fast. Kinda makes me happy that these line leader's "careers" will be extinct soon due to automation because otherwise they aren't skilled at anything else nor will they be in the future if they persist in getting by in very broken English. Language barrier causes the perfect schism between management and workers.
