Pros

The paychecks clear the bank (for now)

Cons

For one, I’m pretty sure we’ve priced ourselves out of the market. We’re twice as expensive as our competition, and I doubt we provide 2x+ value. For two, and this is the core issue, bad leadership — and it’s not exactly a secret. Anyone plugged into the local startup scene knows this place runs on ego, not competence. What would you expect from dot-com-era domainers that never actually learned how to build a business? And it’s obvious. Two layoffs in 2025 alone, and people are still leaving constantly. The majority owner throws his weight around, overrides other decision makers, and publicly humiliates anyone who challenges him — despite having done nothing to meaningfully grow the business. The other founders are just as incompetent, wasting time playing office politics and lording over their underlings, making themselves feel big. They brought in a new CEO at the end of ‘24 who has a decent head on his shoulders, but ownership refuses to get out of its own way. I used to think this company was at least a decent place to gain experience. After what I’ve seen this past year, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Stay away.

Pros

Was largely independent. Colleagues here are very supportive, the workplace is very open/honest and lax. Made many long-term connections here.

Cons

None, really. The company is always adapting, So things can change on a whim
