Pros
The office itself is genuinely beautiful. A few colleagues were incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely talented. Working with them was the highlight of my time there. Spoiler alert: most of them have already been let go.
Cons
Micro-management is the norm. Office politics runs deep. It’s less about how good you are at your job, and more about who you accidentally annoyed in upper management. Even if you’re high-performing, if one of the inner circle doesn’t like you, you’re out. Promotions and key roles are already pre-decided. Meritocracy is just a myth here. Leadership doesn’t listen to genuine feedback. They love to reward those who talk a big game but do very little as long as they say the right things to the right people. The workplace culture is cliquey, gossipy, and emotionally exhausting. Every day feels like a chess game with your boss.
