The pay and benefits are not competitive; not on a national level or on a regional level. This will be the company's greatest challenge to attracting a competent workforce and retaining talented individuals. Culture can only take you so far when you aren't adequately compensated for the work that you do. It seems that people are paid just enough to get over that hump of not having to pay overtime.
In addition the bonus really just seems like a slap in the face. I'd almost rather receive nothing than something so menial.
So, while I love the company for the people that work in it, I would not recommend working here until they fix the compensation/bonus and structure of benefits.
