Pros
- Young workplace, and ambitious people (until Consultant grade) - Office location (was at Picadilly Circus, now at Trafalgar Square) - Good work life balance for a consulting firm
Cons
- They discourage you from thinking. They have set templates and methodologies for everything procurement and you're graded on your ability to use them. Most work is using Efficio's eFlow tool with clients, running tenders and being a 'purchase manager' - They are pivoting from being a strategy consulting firm in the past, to management consulting firm (now) and to a project delivery firm (in 2 years) offering Procurement-as-a-Service (they aim to bring 70% of the firm's revenue from these projects) - Very limited opportunities to grow. The performance review format doesn't recognise skills that consultants show on daily basis but highlight shortcomings. Growth at Efficio appears growing from being able to do one tender at once to doing two tenders at once
