      Pros

      Time off - School schedule Part of a community within the school Clinical freedom Self made schedule Note writing software is easy and fast Work life balance - BIGGEST pro, I worked with them for a year, loved my job but I was recruited to a job paying over the top end of the range for this role and I paid for it. After seeing my mental health decline I reached out to see if I was able to return and they found a position for me immediately. I have been so much happier ever since.

      Cons

      Not exactly a con but you NEED strong boundaries working in a school.

      Pros

      -Great work/life balance with school schedule -administration cares about their employees and listens to their needs by doing check ins and surveys, and they follow through. -networking and collaboration with other clinicians throughout different states -clinical supervision is available for hours -supervisors are extremely helpful and do not have issues getting in contact when an emergent need arises

      I cannot think of any at this time.

      Pros

      I have been with ESS for the last 5 years and it has been a pleasure. I have been able to do lots of meaningful work with children in schools and have been given opportunities to grow by my wonderful supervisors. The intensive therapy that ESS does is not an inherently easy job, but I have felt very supported by my supervisors.

      Cons

      As with every company there are things that get rolled out without good consultation of the actual working conditions and implementations, especially as a therapist in California working with a company headquartered on the East Coast. That being said, my supervisors have always done what they can to smooth over transitions and support me in finding the best path forward to managing my workload and new expectations.
