Pros
The research and clients are interesting.
Cons
Employee turnover is high, so you spend a lot of time picking up the pieces around procedure by your “predecessor”. Pay can stagnate and promotion is given out of necessity rather than merit. Around their busy season the hours needed to complete projects are worse than retail, while they never force you to work beyond normal working hours, it is definitely frowned upon if you are leaving on-time. Very little to no management support, and you are expected to solve complex problems with little to no background or support. The culture is isolating, dehumanizing, and overly competitive while preaching a very pervasive idea of family. I often cite my time here as exactly what to avoid in an employer.
