Pros

I’ve been working at Edge for a while now and in my personal opinion, the culture and environment at Edge are the best I have ever seen. Everyone is so driven, supportive, and upbeat here. I love it. I have been so used to “settling” my whole life in every aspect of my life, whether it be myself as a person, my job, etc. At Edge, I don’t have to, it doesn’t allow me to settle; Edge and my coworkers encourage me to want more and be more. At Edge, my limits are pushed every single day. Being surrounded by motivated people with entrepreneur attitudes all day pushes me to be better, do better, learn more, and to continuously grow. The potential for growth personally and professionally is endless. The skills and experience I have gained while working at Edge are invaluable. I’d say working at Edge is the personal trainer of the business world.

Cons

Because you are pushed to grow and are challenged daily, working at Edge is not for the faint-hearted. Like I said, working at Edge is the personal trainer of the business work, so be prepared to work hard and be held accountable for your work ethic.

Pros

They are an energetic group. They will teach you everything you need to know to learn their product and be confident to approach anyone in the community. Someone will coach you through the process and work on your pitch so it is consistent and deliverable. The potential is huge and your eyes glaze over at the possibilities, but remember to bring your reality filter. It is a challenging work environment and a great fit for the right person, like the one with no family, no personal life, and no plans for the future except to work, work, work.

Cons

No transparency. You think you're going in for a job where you set up meetings with clients and coordinate sales, until you're handed the deals cards. This is where you should walk out the door. If you make it through the preliminary and 1st interview process, you job shadow as a working interview for an ENTIRE day (it was almost 12 hours and NO pay), where you are essentially a door-to-door salesperson, but you get lunch on them. Thanks for the fast food. I thought it would be a little more classy if you make as much as you claim to make. It almost felt like a cult. LOTS of hours. Like 50-70 a week. Seriously?! How can you tell someone that they are a 1099 contract and then require specific hours? A 6-figure income within a year sounds really great, until you realize that the owner hasn't had a day off in 2 years, and neither will you. Great. I have lots of money and nothing to do with it? No thank you.
