Pros

The software they sell is top notch for Social Media Intelligence.

Cons

They didn't have an office. Its a virtual company, employees work from home. After 6 weeks I received an email that they could "no longer afford to pay me", direct quote. Would receive emails at 2 in the morning from company President or phone calls after 9pm plus on weekends (Sundays). Company may challenge this but I retain emails and phone records because they were sent to my personal mail and phone. Changed my responsibilities within weeks of starting even with an employment contract.....list goes on. There are many other Social Media Intelligence firms out there that are stable, have offices, and don't call you on weekends or email you after midnight.

Thank you for your review and honest opinion. Unfortunately, it was unrealistic of you to expect perfectly established processes from EAG at the time of your employment. In September of 2016, we were in the start-up phase of our business. Building a company from the ground requires employees to wear many hats and perform tasks that may not fit your job description. It requires a lot of hard work, passion, flexibility and collaboration. If this wasn't the type of position you wanted, working for a start-up was not the right fit for you.

Pros

Quick growth opportunities and position movement Open to new ideas from entry level- senior management

Cons

Unclear explanation and path for compensation and the requirements that have to be met to move from 1099 contractor to full time W2 with benefits. Extremely unorganized training which led to being in the dark on how to perform daily job functions. Lack of understanding and communication across different job roles led to no one being on the same page about how daily job responsibilities should be done correctly. Entire full time employees on the sales and revenue department (team of 10+) laid off without any heads-up, notice or true explanation other than poor financial backings/investments. No job security unless your an analyst or senior management
