Pros
Decent pay depending on the level you initially hire in. That said, promotions / position advancements are a joke with respect to pay increases. There are a number of dedicated folks willing to work hard and provide support.
Cons
As I said, pay increases for internal candidates and those seeking promotions are a joke. Sales incentives are basically unattainable. In general, managers and senior leaders are out of touch with reality. They only care about bookings, and they seem to think that Elliott can somehow survive on its “brand” alone (without actually supporting customers and delivering on its promises: quality new equipment and first-class aftermarket support). Bold prediction…. Elliott won’t be around much longer in its present configuration. Customers are tired of the poor quality, the pricing, and the constant inability to deliver anything on time. Elliott as a global manufacturer of new compressors and steam turbines will go the way of the Dodo, but not before the executives squeeze every ounce of value out of the corpse that remains. A shell of its former self, Elliott will be left with an aftermarket parts and Field Service apparatus that will also fail overtime.
