Pros
Great people and a strong desire for improvement
Cons
Lack of ethics within CEO/Chairman’s office compounded with his lack of transparency and implementing his former GE tactics at once proud company. He plays with rewards at his own discretion and somehow, he has been able to get the Board of Directors to buy-in to his unethical practices. For example, never in the history of Executive Incentive Compensation (EIC) under former and ethical CEO’s has EIC NOT followed the prescribed formula for payout, however, under Craig Arnold three year tenure he has arbitrarily adjusted downward the percentage of payout against the PUBLISHED formula’s percentage - totally unethical and a prescription to demotivate his key executives and managers. He is a pathetic, passive aggressive leader with only one idea for growth - cut yourself to profits as GE has done and we all see where GE is today, barely more than a penny stock!
