Pros
Great (paid) training, clean and new work facility, solid schedule, commission bonuses & benefits, employee discounts to different places. They do advance from within the company.
Cons
1. The most disappointing thing about this company is learning that you are only a pawn in their bait & switch scheme. During training, you are taught limited info about the actual appointment to keep you from saying too much while trying to set appointments with potential clients... saying too much will discourage them from allowing sales reps in their homes. You must stick to the script, you can't give too many details, and you definitely cannot mention the CONFIRMERS (results in a write-up), aka the credit checkers that follow up with your scheduled appointments and do credit checks on the clients. If they do not pass a credit check, they will cancel the appointment and it WILL mess up your quota, which will effect your bonus, which will...yes--effect your PAYCHECK! It's a truly dishonest process, and 90% of potential clients are disabled or retired, and don't need a company taking all their money for thousand dollar bed systems. 2. Poor communication between managers/supervisors and the employees-- we got yelled at like children almost daily. Lots of rules were implemented to maintain a cleaner facility than the last, and you're watched on camera constantly. 3. 6 day work week, with mandatory Saturdays that "supposedly" work on a rotation, but you will seldom get a Saturday off. And regardless if you work PT in the evening, you are expected to still work Saturday mornings. No work/life balance, especially if you work the midday shift. 4. You're a telemarketer, so expect grumpy customers that have been receiving multiple calls all week (for months even) at all times of the day from this company. People will not hesitate to curse at you or abruptly hang up. 5. Lots of circulating drama among the coworkers, and most are unhappy due to how they're being managed. The environment is overall stressful and negative, and it makes you just beg for a cigarette break. Also, high turnover rate. 6. It can take about a month to receive your commission from bed sales and confirmed appointments. If in the event you quit or are terminated, your last (maybe) 4 weeks of commission is forfeited.
