Pros

The warehouse workers were amazing and did so much for such little pay and appreciation. Certain office employees were great too.

Cons

Earthley loves to promote this idea and mission of changing the way the world sees healthcare, but they could care less about their employees. The warehouse workers get paid the lowest minimum possible, they rarely get any type of promotion or raises because of “metrics” and they blame not paying them fairly on their “metrics” that they have yet to fix. Along with not caring about their employees and promoting a natural lifestyle, the company is very wasteful and does not support a sustainable lifestyle; they only care about themselves. All the owners and upper management do is give false promises and misinformation. They complain about their customers online who aren’t fully into natural health and refuse to “understand” or increase their viewpoint. It’s either full natural health with Earthley or nothing. They lack diversity and inclusion within the company and how they promote their products. Not to mention they make very blatant claims and remarks about diseases, neurodivergent people/behavior, and have made racists remarks to those of color. They recently opened a retail store and made other workers, who either don’t know anything about opening up a retail store help, or put tasks onto others instead of hiring, in a timely manner, an appropriate person to handle opening and creating a brick and mortar. They make decisions and deadlines very last minute, most of the time they don’t share their final decisions with those that it pertains too, and blame others when things don’t arrive when expected or if it’s not how they planned it. They never take full responsibility for their actions. Owners and upper management lack communication and transparency but blame it on the managers and supervisors. They refuse to pay all of their employees fairly unless they are best friends with the owners or have been there since the beginning of Earthley. The PTO is very unattainable and not sustainable. No matter if you need a job or if you do want to work and support a natural health company, they will not support you in any shape or form.

Earthley Response

We're sorry you feel this way. Earthley pays a fair wage for our staff, starting at $17/hr, far above the "minimum" in the state (and average for manufacturing jobs in our area). PTO is offered between 1 and 3 weeks annually. Overall pay rates are assessed and raised annually. We have never complained about our customers or employees online. The rest of this is outside the scope of a warehouse employee's job (such as criticizing the retail strategy), as they would have no knowledge of how that works. We wish you well elsewhere.

Pros

*Positive work environment. *Great upper managment

Cons

It can be difficult being in a start-up type environment with things ever changing, You just have to be on who can roll with the changes!

Pros

Honestly, there weren’t many pros… I did enjoy the all hands meeting, employee appreciation days and bought lunches/treats. However, the bad very much outweighs these perks. For starters, there is very poor communication. I would have to follow up on questions for weeks on end before anyone would ever acknowledge it or attempt to answer it. Slack messages would go unanswered or ignored the majority of the time. There is also a lack of responsibility within management and production employees. No one seems to want to take or acknowledge any type of responsibility within their role. Also seems there is no sense of direction of newly hired employees. Before someone is hired, there should already be a list of job duties and what is expected of that employee, but there is not for some roles. Figure it out as you go type scenario and fend for yourself. Unfortunately, no one seemed to be very happy. Not very many friendly conversations were being had or any sense of team work. I have also personally witnessed unexcused behavior from HR. Bad mouthing employees. Complaining when an employee comes to her office with a concern or issue. One of the worst workplace behaviors I’ve seen from her was scream yelling in her office (door closed) but so loud that everyone in the front of the office heard her and then proceeded to storm out of her office, slam the door, and speed out of the parking lot.

Cons

Lack of communication Very unorganized Lack of responsibility and leadership Pay is less than great with an even worse PTO structure.
