Pros
Employees are respected here. Almost no office politics in my office. I know there is a little in others. When I started I felt like this is a company that treats its engineers like the talented professionals they are. The pay is good as are the benefits. Work-life balance is respected mostly. Don't work more than 40 hours a week unless you have to. We have flexibility to work from home if necessary and can shift work around to meet other demands (ie, work late one day to leave early the next).
Cons
No education or career development training beyond an internal web thing. Management keeps saying they'll pay for it, but it has never happened, for anyone. Not willing to invest in refactoring or migrating to newer technology, except in select cases. When they do the knowledge is very compartmentalized, they don't train a whole team, just one engineer. The business side will push a product without securing any customers for it.
