Pros
- Etherstack has offices all over the world, and customers all over the US and beyond. If you enjoy travelling, there's plenty of opportunity here.
- Etherstack is constantly innovating, and creating new products. Don't get too comfortable with the project you're working on, you'll probably be working on a new one next quarter!
- I'm disagreeing with another reviewer on this one. Because the company is so small and geographically dispersed, there is plenty of opportunity for job-diversification. An Etherstack employee will find themselves "wearing many hats." Developers don't just write code, they participate at every stage in the process. You'll participate in sales-proposals. You'll be deploying the product (both hardware and software!) on customer sites. You'll be providing direct post-sales customer support and training.
Cons
- Just like another reviewer mentions, the pace of innovation can mean that a lot of projects get only half done, or you have to drop what you're doing entirely to move onto whatever the current critical project is.
