We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with many things during the 3 years you worked for our company, please let us address the points you mention:
• We are working mostly in agile mode directly together with our customers. Our customers are joining our retrospective meetings, getting regular reports (which we try to improve together with the customer) we visit them and they visit us regularly.
In our point of view there is no possibility and also no space or motivation form us the lie to the customer as you described. Agile values as trust and transparency are important for us.
• Lack of security/any other policies: We have every year regulatory security check, where we get reviewed and we then follow the advice, if there is any. ERNI Slovakia is ISO 9001 and 27001 (Data security) certified with regular audits. All our contracts are reviewed on a yearly base by a law firm. All this (external and internal) audits find always only minor issues which we afterwards address in our processes in order to improve them.
• We have a lot of possibilities to be active also with non-working activities. ´These are all voluntary and mostly organized by employees themselves, with our company’s support. Several gaming events per month, running/climbing activities, etc. We do organize also events if someone has a birthday or if a long term employee leaves the company. These are also voluntary events, and they do take place after working hours.
We do have also several more official events, not only for our employees, but some of them also for their children or partner. Many learning activities are organized both by ERNI and again also by employees themselves to benefit from each other’s know-how and in order to further grow.
We believe that all these things build a great community and working place.
• Little care about premises - rotting office: The office is in a modern building, only 5 years in use, when there is a problem it gets fixed. This autumn we renewed all the meeting rooms with new large monitors, voice system and professional cameras. Last year our nice roof top was completely rebuild which is nice place in summer to relax and meet people.
• Singing happy birthday: We think it’s a nice habit.
We will be happy to discuss these issues in more detail, either through HR or any of our leaders.
We are always looking for improvements and ways to make ERNI a better company for everyone from our employees, customers and other partners.
