Pros
Stable salary that is paid always on time and private insurance also provided. Great company to start as an intern or entry-level employee to enter in the shipping sector. In most cases, coworkers are supportive and friendly. Company also makes exceptional promotional videos.
Cons
I would not recommend working for this company in terms other than as a project manager, sales or as an intern. Following the ballast (BWTS) boom, the company has beed mainly focused on sales and customer support, meaning that there have been no serious investment in engineering and new product development. Additionally, there are frequent interdepartmental conflicts and bad communication and as a result, many times it is difficult to get things done efficiently. Unfortunately, employees are frequently stuck between directors' and managers' petty quarrels. Too bad that this attitude is still overlooked in a company that considers itself modern. The salaries range between low to average, which makes it difficult to make ends meet and results in high staff turnover. To copensate for lower wages, the company provides coupons (!) for groceries. Moreover, even the managers lie regarding the potential relocation that was about to begin back in 2018... The worst part, however, is the lack of planning, as the management may change plans without notice which results to high stress and uncertainty.
