The people are great. Everyone is passionate about what they do. Everyone's job matters and that can be rewarding but also stressful. It's a typical startup in many ways, so there are a lot of hats to wear.

It's a startup. There are problems that don't always have an immediate answer, so it can be a struggle to get someone's time to help for "new" issues that arise. Overall, everyone cared enough to ultimately do the right thing for each other and the customer.

The team at ERIN is incredible! Coming from a background in K-12 education, I was thrilled that they recognized my transferable skills, and were willing to take the gamble on me! I love the work life balance and the ability to work from home when needed (although with an office right in the North Shore of Pittsburgh, with a rooftop patio and an incredible skyline view, why would you want to work from home? But most important is that we are like a big family. We get stoked for each others success, and we genuinely want to see people grow and succeed in their roles. And with the rate the company is growing, it’s an incredible place to be.

Anyone who says that there isn’t a level of stress associated with working at a start up would be lying. Recent success makes me constantly look for ways to further the company, which can add to a busy schedule. But remember… ERIN is all about work life balance, and managers have extremely reasonable expectations of their teams.
