Pros

Excellent product and support from mangers and teams from offices in Germany, China and local companies, I’ll miss them the most. Great teams who want to make a good product/service but are prevented by micromanaging boss For clarification ‘Dr Andreas Mootz’ is not the EMAG USA CEO (Dr. Mootz is a good manager of a technology group in Germany)

Cons

The managing director, Peter loetzner, is THE reason people continue to leave EMAG. Some comments that describe the managing director; Peter is not for everyone. Peter is Peter and that is not always pretty. ..he is a bully and that he demeans many within our organization. I agree that he does not treat our customers as they should be treated. I do not believe he is an honest individual on an average day. He is a poster card for what a leader IS NOT - Takes credit for others’ work - Doesn’t show appreciation or give recognition to employees - Micromanages - ask the project manager how often they have their decisions changed behind their backs - control freak; has to make every decision even at the shop floor level - Plays favorites; - Doesn’t provide clear or realistic direction; we are love to hear “I never said to do that” when we all know he did. - Is unavailable or avoids tough conversations; Agrees to attend a tough meeting and backs out at the last minute. - Doesn’t lead be example - Doesn’t follow through
