Pros

If you are interested in eCommerce and online marketing, ECommerce Partners allows you to have first hand experience in doing so. Whether on the web or the marketing side of the business, you will manage relationships with many clients, helping them to build/grow their online businesses. The management and those who work at the company truly care about collaborating together to achieve results for clients. The ECommerce Partners team was great and made it a fun place to work. The hours are standard and the company provides lunch once a month and celebrates every birthday.

Cons

The benefits (outside of salary) can be better.

Pros

Hiring process was quick. The office manager was pleasant and easy to get along with. Several of the office staff were pleasant and made my time there more bearable.

Cons

The owner of the company is by a huge margin the worst person I have ever worked for. In the time I worked there, lying to customers was policy. He never missed an opportunity to shortchange his employees and customers alike. Customers were given a very flashy product to hide the fact that back end software was so poorly designed that in the time I was there server break ins were a common occurrence. His "in house" development staff lived in Estonia. This became a problem if an annoyed customer insisted on talking to a developer personally and we were expected to say anything to get them off the phone and not expose the lie that the triple digit hourly rates were going to eastern european developers who he paid in single digit hourly rates. Probably the worst I bore witness to was their attempt to hire a replacement accountant, who strangely did not want to continue working there once he became a CPA. The staffing agency replacement didn't last a month, but gave no explanation for why she left. Her replacement from a accounting temp agency did not last a week. After the agency did not seem willing to send anybody else, he interviewed for direct hires, one of whom walked out of the interview after mere minutes of being there.
