Pros
They are good about promoting from within. They are good about letting you do volunteer work and encourage you to get involved. They can be (somewhat) flexible on accommodating for family life/necessity for non-traditional schedule depending on department. There is an on-site clinic and pharmacy that is free to use for anyone on the health plan.
Cons
The wages are not always competitive which can cause high turn-over and disruption. The benefits, although fantastic, are very expensive. It's a family-owned business, but if you're not in the family you might not feel it quite as much as others. The high turn-over often leads to increased and unmanageable workloads for others.
