Pros

The refreshment is good and the location is good

Cons

All the reviews with one or two stars are telling the truth. The top management is a dictator and doesn't care about employees. The staff can be easily fired due to very small things without any inquiries and reminder. The management is lack of any people management skills

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for acknowledging the positive aspects of our workplace, including the location and facilities. We take comments about leadership style and people management seriously. Our organisation operates in a highly regulated and fast-paced industry, which requires clear accountability, high standards, and adherence to company policies. While this structure may feel demanding to some, it is designed to ensure fairness, consistency, and business integrity rather than to single out individuals. Regarding employment decisions, we would like to clarify that terminations are not taken lightly. All actions are guided by internal policies, documented processes, and applicable labour regulations. We recognise that decisions can sometimes be perceived differently depending on individual circumstances, and perceptions may vary. We are continuously working to strengthen our people management capabilities through clearer communication, leadership development, and feedback mechanisms. Constructive feedback helps us improve, and we remain committed to building a professional, respectful, and performance-driven workplace. Thank you again for taking the time to share your perspective.

Pros

got cater food on certain public hol, some colleagues can be nice, i got unlimited GP clinic from MyMED, strict 10-7 onsite

Cons

The environment is heavily political, with frequent leadership changes and unclear direction. Many key aspects of work — including approvals, access to systems, project ownership, performance ratings, and bonuses — appear to be tightly controlled by a small group of decision-makers. In practice, this can make advancement feel dependent on alignment with current leadership rather than consistent, merit-based performance. Turnover and restructuring are constant. New managers and replacement hires come in every few months, making it difficult to maintain continuity or execute long-term plans. Teams are often rebuilt before previous initiatives have a chance to deliver results. There are also significant capability gaps in certain functions, particularly marketing. A large portion of the team appears to lack relevant experience or domain knowledge, which leads to unclear strategies, rework, and output that does not align with business needs. This raises questions about hiring standards and role fit. Performance management can feel disconnected from actual impact. KPIs are not always clearly defined or tied to meaningful outcomes, and may be adjusted or interpreted in ways that reflect internal politics more than measurable results. This creates confusion and reduces accountability. Culturally, there is a noticeable gap between stated expectations and day-to-day reality. Transparency is limited, and decision-making is not always communicated clearly. Combined with the frequent changes in leadership, this creates an environment where priorities shift quickly and employees are left navigating uncertainty. Thats the glassdoors content safe version. I cant speak the real truth. Finally, the place has more in common with soap n water than what you got told iykyk. Im giving a star so they dont take down but its rlly zero...

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciate the colleague support, employee benefits such as medical coverage, and the structured onsite working arrangement. We also acknowledge your comments regarding clarity of direction, organisational changes, and performance management. As a growing global organisation, EBC continues to evolve its structure and processes to better align with business needs across regions. We recognise that periods of change can sometimes feel disruptive, and we are working to improve communication and alignment to provide greater clarity and stability for teams. With regard to performance evaluation and career progression, EBC is committed to a merit-based approach supported by defined KPIs and formal review processes. We are continuously refining these frameworks to ensure consistency, transparency, and fairness across all departments. We appreciate all feedback as it helps us identify areas where we can improve both communication and execution. Our goal remains to build a more structured, transparent, and supportive working environment as we continue to grow.
