There is almost always work, so you’ll never be bored

The office I worked at needs something done to figure out their issues. Myself and one other employee were both fired after only being there for under six months. In my case, it was said to be “performance issues”, but I had undergone a performance review the week before where I was told I was doing well. Almost seems like I was truly fired because I valued my work-life balance and refused to work 70+ hrs every week, when I had been told in the interview that I would extremely rarely go over 40 hrs.
