Pros
1) Great entry level job. It's a perfect place to start if you have no experience in sales because you will receive proper training and have a wide variety of resources/workshops available in order to learn everything you need to become a qualified salesman. 2) It looks good on your resume.
Cons
1) Salary is a joke. You get paid minimum wage yet they expect you to prioritize your life around them. You also only get an abysmally small amount of commission from the very high sales quota you're required to meet. 2) They won't accommodate your schedule regardless of your circumstances. 3) Management is a mess and there's a lack of communication between the supervisors. You'll literally get in trouble for WORKING. One supervisor will yell at you for trying to fold clothes / re-stock/ clean up your area because you only need to be focused on attending customers but then another one will also yell at you if the shelves look empty or if the store is untidy. 4) Say hello to mandatory overtime and kiss your social life goodbye.
