Pros

The job itself is not too hard. Once you settle into a routine, it becomes pretty solid. You just need to pay attention to time and know how to think on your feet without backup. Hopefully, you will have many positive interactions with clients. They were my favorite part of the job!

Cons

45-minute blowouts are difficult to achieve and maintain. Trying to manage client expectations, stylist's abilities, and the demands of management is draining.

Pros

can be a fun community

Cons

managers were always on vacation, meanwhile 95% of the time I would request a day off I'd get denied because "too many stylists were off already off" making it impossible to take any time off. (Of course no one wants to cover your shifts...) managers making it so you're unable to change your schedule, the low pay, the constant pain you're in from doing blowouts all day. they treat you as a slave. if you say no they don't care. I got in a car accident and tried to call out and was told to I had come in. Insane.
