Cons
Working for DrivingSales is an emotional roller coaster; you rarely feel happy and most of the time you're scared and stressed out about what comes next. I can't say the experience was worthless to me, as it did help establish good footing and networking, but the overall experience left a VERY bitter taste in my mouth. Over the course of recent years, I witnessed over 15 employees leave the company (both by their own will and by being forced out). The sad part is that management never ever addresses the fact that the turnover is SO BAD. It's always swept under the rug to quickly hide the fact that there's a serious problem. Ironically, DrivingSales sells a product to combat all the issues that it has itself as a company; high turnover, no career path, employee incentivization plans, etc. Why not become advocates of the product you sell before trying to shove it down other people's throats? Just a thought. If you're thinking about working here as your first out-of-college job or to just get some experience, be prepared to have your eyes opened. You likely won't have a future career here for more than a couple years and you will likely NEVER get a raise. Management tries to hire talent for cheap, use them up, and throw them out. Rinse and repeat. You've been warned.
