Pros

- super strong founders with lots of experience - the direction of the company and the product, while able to change in detail, is clearly defined and discussed - process is constantly refined and calibrated by each team as they need it - Really nice tech stack and architecture (k8s, js/ts, react, node, go, google cloud platform) - programming language decisions are decided at a company level, but libraries and frameworks are decided on at a team level - team goals are defined as OKRs and left to the team to decide how to solve; leaving more room for each team to be creative in their approach - a lot of the ceremonies around scrum are left to the team to implement at the level they like - very flat organisational structure, with no one behaving like they are better than anyone else - very flexible for families and life as long as you deliver and care about what you produce - small company that is both growing and hiring - nice social environment and a fun team - lunch is included - excellent espresso machine

Cons

- some tech debt, that is luckily being adressed, but that requires a bit of navigating to get out of - testing is something that is now being focused on, but could be improved

Pros

At Dreamdata, you'll join a team that's focused on creating a great product. The people there are smart and dedicated, and they are working to solve an actual problem. Their office is fantastic! The food in the canteen is almost always good! The fridge is always stocked with refreshing beverages, there's a good espresso machine so you can make great coffee, and the social events are unbeatable—think fun activities (wakeboarding, boat tour in the canal, paddle, art sessions, etc), cool coworkers, and plenty of drinks like beers and wine!
They're cool with letting people work from home once or twice a week, which is great.

Cons

Sometimes, we may not be fully aware of every decision made by the company. However, I understand that this can occur because of our close proximity to the founders. We interact with founders almost daily, engaging in conversations during lunch on random topics, or seeing them around the office. Because we feel close to them, we expect to be informed about every decision, but it's important to recognize that this isn't always feasible and they can't share everything. Since it's a startup, formal career development plans are not in place, and instead, we need to adapt and grow alongside the company's expansion pace, which is not always that fast because they value a sustainable growth.
