Pros

There’s only one pro: your colleagues (meaning ONLY the agents) are incredibly amazing and hardworking people and you form genuine friendships. I suppose that in such a toxic environment, it’s easy to bond with others.

Cons

The company is split into two divisions: the Global Contact Center (where I previously worked) and the corporate office. In this review, I'll focus solely on the Global Contact Center, which has to be one of the most toxic environments I’ve ever been a part of. Salary and Promotions: When I first joined, I was surprised by the number of promotions happening each week. However, it quickly became clear that there are no real promotions available in the Global Contact Center. They simply change titles without increasing salaries (and let’s be honest, £28k is quite low for London in 2025). Benefits: Employees are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes early, because if you're even 60 seconds late in logging in (and I’m not exaggerating), you lose your benefits. For example, if your shift starts at 7am, you must be there at least by 6:50am—imagine the impact this has on those living outside of London. Holidays: Getting time off in this company is nearly impossible. The operations team claims to have an SLA to adhere to, but you may end up waiting up to a month to have your holiday request approved (or denied). This leads to not having a work-life balance (also, you can randomly do the earliest shift at 7am for one day, have one day of rest and do the latest shift ending at 10pm the other day) As for sick days, I once had to plead for one, even with a GP’s note. Dress Code: The company lacks inclusivity. I had managers asking me to iron my shirts, people are required to cover their tattoos with plasters. It really feels like a dictatorship and sometimes it gets so absurd (it's a call center). HR: HR is non-existent. I reported a manager who was controlling my lunch and toilet breaks (yes, seriously), but my concerns were met with laughter. I could go on, but I’ll stop here, as thankfully, I’m no longer part of that environment.
