Pros

Make your own schedule. Can be available for emergencies. Good money when fully committed. Not being tied down to a building. Friendly customers. Generous customers who tip well! The opportunity to work anytime without scheduling when being a top dasher. Occasional promos/increase base pay during certain hours and/or holiday.

Cons

Picking up from businesses with unproductive (slow, rude) employees. Decreasing base pay. Penalized for taking multiple orders at the same time but acceptance rate which is needed to be top dasher so you can dash anytime will drop if you don’t take the second order! Customer service wastes too much of your time when calling for assistance. Wear and tear on your vehicle with no incentives/discounts provided. Fluctuating gas prices.

Pros

You make tips and get to shop at a lot of stores. More areas are open for delivery. You don't go far and have specific zones, like cities, you stay in usually. They give you a special tier of being a Dasher when you're doing the best deliveries, they're called tiers from silver to gold to platinum. Platinum gives you the dash now button allowing you to dash whenever.

Cons

Sometimes the delivery will get marked as if you didn't deliver the item and it gets put on you. There's sometimes drastic waits between orders. The restaurant may be closed or out of the thing the customer ordered. You can't decline order or else the acceptance rating goes down and you'll lose the certain requirements to be a higher tier driver.
