Pros

The company has amazing people — truly talented and passionate professionals — but your experience can vary a lot depending on the sector you work in. Strong points: Mission: Inspiring and meaningful, especially for those who value purpose-driven work. Compensation: Competitive pay structure for the industry. PTO: Generous and well-structured time-off policy. Benefits: Solid overall package that supports both professional and personal well-being.

Cons

Poor leadership. Instead of promoting qualified people internally — those who truly understand the company’s mission and culture — management chose to hire external candidates who lacked both context and the ability to effectively train or drive KPIs. When I first joined, people genuinely cared. Leadership valued the team and treated employees with respect. Unfortunately, by the time I left, that sense of care had disappeared. Decisions felt abrupt and disconnected, and people were let go without real communication or consideration

Pros

I’ve used a ton of nonprofit tech platforms (former ED and Development Director), and Donorbox is different. Powerful and user-friendly product, but what sets them apart is everything around it: support team, solutions architect, fundraiser coach. Actual humans with nonprofit knowledge at every layer. Useful, and not generic, sector-specific resources. Super passionate global team including former nonprofit practitioners. Products are built on continuous customer and staff feedback from people who’ve actually worked in the sector. Leadership puts nonprofit voice before profit and it shows. Rare find.

Cons

Sometimes high workload, but comes with the territory of a growing company.
