This company will check off all the boxes you are looking for. The work is relatively simple and low stress with some peak seasons throughout the year
Cons
There isn't much opportunity for upward growth. You have to wait till someone dies before you can advance or move. The social circles can be very tight knit

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your many years of service with Domtar. We’re glad to hear you valued your coworkers, pay, and benefits. We understand how difficult it is when a facility closes and truly appreciate the dedication and hard work you contributed over the years.
Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.
Cons
The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
