Pros
The dogs (when screened appropriately) are awesome to work with. It's a high energy, fast paced job and if you love dogs, the work specifically with the dogs is incredibly rewarding.
Cons
The owner, Ana, is the con. The main, the only and the worst of the cons of working there. She treats her employees terribly and creates a very hostile work environment. She will yell at staff, call them stupid, lazy, apathetic, arrogant, ect. in front of others. She will talk to other employees about how awful her chosen target of the day has been. She assumes all of her employees just don't want to work, don't know how to work, and won't work despite evidence to the contrary. No one, not even the people that last the longest, know how to do the simplest things like scoop poop or empty the poop buckets. She also will sometimes allow aggressive dogs to pass the screening. By aggressive, I mean a co-worker of mine had to get stitches because she allowed a known-biter into the kennel free environment. Only after it bit again was it booted from 'daycare.' I have never worked in a place that had such employee turnover in my life and I pray I never do again. Honest to god, it was less stressful and more rewarding to work at a fast food place with a 16 year old manager. If you want a job where you go home at night and look forward to (or, at the very least, aren't apprehensive of) the next day? Not the job for you. Basically, this job sucks even if you love the work. It's a stress-bomb due to management. Don't work here. I repeat, unless you are desperate, don't work here.
