Pros
Flexible schedule, super easy work
Cons
No structure, at all. No real processes set in place, everything is just do it as it comes, with no organization or documentation. The pay is very low. Below market value for all positions. The benefits are abhorrent. Company pays for almost nothing, so you’re stuck paying high prices, while also not making much. PTO isn’t great, paid holidays not many. CEO is awful to work for. He doesn’t care about his employees. He doesn’t know what any of them do. I’m surprised he remembered our names half the time. He doesn’t understand the department’s and the work they do, and tries to change it without thinking of the repercussions. Doesn’t listen to customer feedback. Feels as if he knows better than what the customer wants. Poor management style. Doesn’t communicate anything to his employees. Everyone is left in fear of the next layoff. Stressful and non productive environment. Can spend the whole day surfing the Internet and still get your work done. If there’s anything to do. No room for growth. Don’t even think about implementing change, asking for a raise, or a promotion. It won’t happen. High turnover rate of employees (either from layoffs or leaving on their own accord), but not quick enough to replace personnel. CEO dumps all extra work on employees who are left without considering their time or if they even know how to do it. There are so many reasons not to work here. The company is failing, the CEO doesn’t want to admit to it, and keeps trying to bring people in to save it. Without making actual positive changes, don’t waste your time.
