Pros
- Docplanner has a structured onboarding Launchpad and plenty of documentation/resources. - Strong product and mission, with smart, motivated people across the business. - Modern tools and an international environment that can be great for learning.
Cons
- The onboarding experience depends heavily on the manager. Even with Launchpad available, execution is inconsistent and some managers don’t take full ownership of the new hire ramp-up. - No clear 30/60/90-day plan in practice for some roles. Without documented expectations and success criteria, it’s difficult to prioritise, measure progress, and perform with confidence. - Limited early alignment on stakeholders, responsibilities, and “what good looks like,” which leads to rework and unnecessary stress. - Feedback can arrive too late and may feel subjective when goals were never clearly defined upfront. - New hires can end up self-onboarding and navigating ambiguity alone, which increases the risk of early disengagement.
