Pros

The women at director level, operational teams and support services are fantastic, kind, hardworking and genuine.

Cons

I worked there in 2025 and found senior leadership(c-level) challenging, with low trust, micromanagement, and limited support for flexible work. The location is less accessible, and there were significant restructures, redundancies, and high staff turnover. I recommend carefully assessing your prospective manager before joining.

Pros

Not many unfortunately. It varies widely across the org depending if you’re client facing or working behind the scenes.

Cons

Terrible leadership, from Manager up to CEO. No support, encouragement or guidance. Quite a toxic environment, very silo’d in terms of the work and interactions across teams. Not a pleasant place to spend time. Prey on people who want to do good for the community, but will exploit you. Raising concerns will get you nowhere. No opportunity for growth (at least back end non-client facing). Not interested in widening inclusivity for anyone outside of community (i.e., will not acknowledge, respect or enquire about other cultural practices other than Aboriginal; some leave entitlements applied only to Aboriginal staff despite other cultures having own practices in relation to loss etc).
