Pros

6a-2pm, you get a week off during Christmas and there are half days

Cons

Cons? They are cons. If you want to work for a "publication" that contributes to writers and photographers staying broke and hungry and refusing to pay any money for content by all means. Management is completely clueless and each department doesn't seem to know what the other is doing. The head boss lady should NOT BE running a magazine and stick to sales. She doesn't write or even read the magazines she publishes. I'm baffled that this company has lasted as long as it has. They are riding on buzzwords like "diversity and inclusion" acting as if they actually care about any of it. They just want advertising money and could care less about delivering quality content or giving a spotlight to smaller business owners that deserve it. Can't wait to see them feature Oprah on the cover for the 5th time.

Pros

Best part was probably some of the people that worked there

Cons

Very demanding, quick turn around of employees selling advertisements for “diversity magazines” but it’s all a gimmick to get companies to dump money and meet diversity quota. Felt scammy.
