Pros

People working here are incredibly kind-hearted. They will go out of their way for their clients and do whatever it takes!

Cons

Leadership needs a reality check. It is crazy to think that such an incredible agency has leadership who only think about themselves. They will talk positive to your face and trash talk behind your back.

Pros

Great benefits, kindness and empathy among staff members, and an ability to form meaningful relationships with clients and peers. A wonderful mission doing incredible and fulfilling work.

Cons

1)While the organization does meaningful work and many employees are passionate about the mission, my experience with workplace culture and leadership was disappointing and toxic. 2)One thing I noticed was favoritism. Advancement opportunities did not always feel tied to performance or qualifications, and internal mobility felt inconsistent. It felt that those who “tattled” on their peers were the one’s who were raised up for promotions, and those who were socially aligned with leadership received more opportunities. 3)Training and onboarding were also lacking. Employees were frequently thrown into the position with minimal structure or support, which created unnecessary stress and inconsistency. 4)Another concern was professionalism within leadership. Communication at times felt overly political, and there was a noticeable lack of trust among staff. Gossip, poor conflict management, and a culture of backchannel communication negatively affected morale. 5)This workplace may be a good fit for some people, especially those who thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal structure. However, I believe the organization would benefit greatly from stronger leadership development, clearer training processes, more transparent promotion practices, and a healthier team culture.
