Pros
Even after the “storm”, I couldn’t find any reasons to stay
Cons
The only people rating this company 5 stars are the ones who are paid bucket loads to keep its head above water and say “yes, sir.” Take a moment to think about what a 5-star company typically is: - Does a 5-star company lose 85–90% of its employees through resignations? Not terminations or coups. Clearly, neither the CEO nor the product potential alone were enough to retain amazing talent. - Does a 5-star company make employees nervous to speak up? People “crack on,” not because of facts, but because the CEO rants without listening. Draining! - Does a 5-star company offer minimal pensions and weak wellness packages? No. Under the current CEO, this has never been and never will be a 5-star company. While the North Star remains unchanged, execution and product direction have deteriorated. Technical and product clarity is weak, and the company feels directionless without the team that actually drove the success, said no to the CEO and managed the tantrums Trust is low, and leadership reacts to opinions despite claiming everything is “rosy.” You cannot have a CEO with a huge ego, chaotic tendencies, and controlling behavior leading product and technical decisions beyond their expertise, especially when surrounded by yes-men. It’s very unfortunate for the company. Avoid… seriously
